Job Responsibilities:

To sell, deliver and distribute agronomy products, and conduct soil and tissue testing in a manner that will optimizer the cooperative's market share and saving, improve the cooperative's efficiency, help achieve the cooperative's mission and goals, and result in outstanding customer service.

Job responsibilities include:

The agronomy and seeds sales person's responsibilities involve sales, service, safety and maintenance, and other duties assigned by management.

The agronomy sales person will maintain a positive attitude that promotes team work within the cooperative and a favorable image of the cooperative.

Sales

Sales involves assisting in establishing sales goals, developing and promoting a marketing plan, increasing sales of agronomy product, making proper recommendations and applications of products sold, knowing prices of products and services, maintaining the current market share, and assisting in developing competitive marketing strategies.

Requirements:

Education- High school diploma or equivalent required; Post-Secondary Degree Agronomy or Agri Business preferred; Successful retail sales experience may be substituted for education. Fluent reading, writing, and speaking the English language.

License, Certificate or Registration - Class A CDL Preferred; Certified Applicator License with A, and H preferred, and a CCA preferred

Basic Skills- Speaking, Writing, Reading Comprehension, Listening, Monitoring, Judgment and Decision Making, Time Management.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $32.00 per hour
